Wow…2009 has arrived and can
only get better!!!! Let’s make this a great
year by positive attitudes! There are a lot
of lemons out there. You can choose to be
one or you can choose to make some really
good lemonade. Women’s Council of
Realtors San Antonio Chapter is off to a
good start. We have fabulous programs
lined up for you this year and hope to
improve your business and attitude. We
are looking forward to bringing forth some
new things also such as additional education
classes to benefit your business and
you as a person. We will have a monthly
newsletter with more than just WCR news.
It will provide relevant industry news,
great tips and video clips. This one is not
a boring newsletter by far. We hope to
grow our chapter to the number one position
in the United States (which would be
a great honor.) You can check out all the
fun stuff and now register and pay online
at our website, wcrsanantonio.org. We
have lots of great information there, photos
and links. As we move into the New

2009, Here We Come
Year, I think one of the primary agendas
on everyone’s mind is relationship building.
In some of the previous years we
were all so busy we may have forgotten
the people around us who are important or
sends business your way, just because we
had a hard time keeping up with what we
were currently doing. It is now...as the
market has slowed, we all start scratching
our heads going …oh no. Getting back to
basics is easy if you have the drive! It has
been the true and tried way of making
business over all the years. Part of that has
been to thank those you do business with
and reward /thank those who send business
your way. Open up that database, go
through that list and remember who were
not just your friends but a source a business.
Pick up the phone schedule a lunch,
send out a card, or just make a phone call.
Reestablish or mend that relationship.
Make some new ones too and let’s remember
in the future even when we are busy to
not overlook them or let them die.

What a wonderful feeling these WCR volunteers (oops, we mean Santa’s
elves) must have after a busy day of deliveries for Elf Louise and seeing all
those smiling faces!
Fun times are ahead. We can tell by watching Coldwell Banker D’Ann
Harper’s Missy Stagers, Chuck Bowen of Chuck Bowen Coaching and
Christine O’Connor of Legacy Mutual enjoy the first WCR meeting of the
new year.
