of Nancy Carlson to the position of
Executive Vice President for Residential
Sales. Nancy comes with thirty years of
sales and management experience in residential
real estate with Coldwell Banker.
In addition to owning her own company,
she has been a general sales manager
for several large Coldwell Banker
Chairman Circle Companies as well as
serving as Vice President, National
Director of Operations for Coldwell
Banker Residential Affiliates for the United
States and Canada. Her most recent position
was Business Consultant for the
Coldwell Banker Southern Region, a territory
comprised of 47 companies in Texas
including CBDHR.

hours of service with SABOR
and the Texas Association of Realtors.
Russ’ responsibilities are being assumed by
Pam Poitevent who has been with CBDHR
for 15 years and will now become the
Senior Vice President for Professional
Development. Pam’s long history with
CBDHR and her experience with education
and training will continue to grow our long
standing reputation as a leader in this area.
CBDHR is also proud to announce
the appointment of Chip Brown as the Vice
President for Residential Sales in the company’s
Northeast office effective January 1,
2009. After a distinguished military career
Chip turned his attention to real estate in
2004 and joined Coldwell Banker D’Ann
Harper, REALTORS in 2008. Chip follows
Dennis Shumaker who retired after 30
years of dedicated service to the San
Antonio real estate community.
San Antonio to Host 32nd Annual RE/MAX of
Texas Statewide Convention
This year, the Alamo City will play
host to the biggest real estate fiesta in
Texas. The 2009 RE/MAX Statewide
Convention kicks off on February 10th
with three days of education and training
sessions, technology and industry
updates and some of the best speakers in
real estate today. Located on the famous
San Antonio Riverwalk, this year’s convention
will be held at the new, luxurious
Grand Hyatt San Antonio.
Convention attendees will experience
an array of MCE, CRS classes and
special breakout sessions on dozens of
topics central to today’s real estate market.
