SAMB Takes Top Honors At Peanut Festival
The San Antonio Marching Band was
awarded the 2008 Grand Champion Award at
the Floresville Peanut Festival Parade
Saturday, October 11.
The Band, composed of nearly 40
musicians, six twirlers and flag corps, made
its debut performance at the annual event.
Formed just three months ago, the band is
composed of former members of high school,
college, military and other marching bands.
Members range in age from 18 to over 70.
The next scheduled performance for
the San Antonio Marching Band will be in the
annual Veteran's Day Parade in San Antonio,
Saturday, November 8.

30 years of service to the community as
realtors on Saturday, October 11, 2008. A
crowd of over 200 came out to celebrate
with them at the Windcrest Civic Center.

for their business over the years.
