the Women’s Council of REALTORS
events, I have noticed that Sonterra
seems like the destination for all things
real estate lately. So today I want to
share with you the unique things the San
Antonio Chapter of WCR is doing
beyond the monthly meetings at Sonterra
Country Club.
First things first, have you
renewed your membership? You can
renew the fastest and simplest way
online at www.wcr.org. Women’s
Council of REALTORS sends out an
annual referral roster which consists of
over 500 pages of members from across
the country. WCR is proud to account
for millions of dollars in agent commissions
through referrals amongst its members.
The Women’s Council of REAL-
TORS designation PMN, Performance
Management Network, actually requires

On March 5th the education program
at our business resource meeting
was titled “Is Your Three Legged Stool
Balanced” discussing mental, physical
and financial aspects of our lifestyles.
Between money resolutions, physical
and lifestyle coaching tips, and associating
attitude with confident communications
all attendees walked away with
reflections and action plans for 2008. In
January we make resolutions and set
business plans in motions. This program
provided value at the right time as we
end the first quarter of 2008.
Unique events for 2008 have
March 15, 2008 REAL ESTATE NEWSLINE 3
already been launched. Our first
Community Outreach event raised funds
for Homes For Pets, a no kill animal non
profit organization. On March 8th over
100 people gathered at McAllister Park
for our first Picnic with your Pooch.
Dog tricks, a fashion show encouraging
pet adoption, a canine costume contest,
hot dogs and doggie door prizes made
this family fun event a huge success.
Our 2008 Ways and Means committee
is kicking off party planning
preparations for our annual fundraiser.
From fashion shows, to wine tasting and
galas, WCR has held magnificent events
raising funds for educational scholarships
for our members. This year our
chapter is planning a somewhat retro
gala with a Havana night’s theme. I
think I have shared too many details
already, but if you would like to be a part
of this task force we are currently look-
