the public about how Texas
REALTORS® are crucial to
achieving the goal of providing
all Texans with fair and affordable
housing.

Primary Success
Once again, Texas REAL-
TORS® enjoyed tremendous success
in the electoral process.
TAR endorsed 36 candidates for
the Texas Senate and Texas
House of Representatives in the
March 4 primary elections.
Twenty-four of those won their
races, nine lost, and the remaining
three are headed for run-

offs. Thank you to all Texas
REALTOR® volunteers who
worked hard on these and other
targeted opportunity races. A
record number of Texas voters
voted in this primary and many
of you attended your precinct
conventions to pass the
American Dream resolution.
Thank you for your participation
in the REALTOR® Delegate
Program.
Locally, SABOR supported
County Commissioner Chico
Rodriguez for Precinct 1 for reelection
and State
Representative Frank Corte, Jr.
for District 122 in his bid for reelection.
Both candidates handi-
ly won their
respective
races, but not
without the
help of members
of the
Governmental
A f f a i r s
Committee.
Many thanks
to all those who worked the polls
throughout the day!
Representative Frank Corte
will again be opposed for his
seat in the November election
and will need your support again
at the polls later this year.
County Commissioner Candidate
Kevin Wolff is running for Lyle
Larson’s Precinct 3 seat. SABOR
