happen. Their knowledge and professionalism
continues to generate confidence
and makes deals happen.”

certainly tightening in our current market,
but that does not change how we do
business. Our job is to match the best
financing for our client to their needs.
We work all over Texas and offer the
true personal touch to each transaction.
We are finding military and retirees
expressing a serious interest in investment
and home purchases in Texas.
Major magazines are promoting our
healthy economy worldwide. Texas is a
great place to live and invest and this is
great for our business,” shares Hudson.
“Our loan officers and processors
are remarkable! These are people
everyone in South Texas real estate recognizes
as our experience precedes our
business. The knowledge they bring to
each transaction is amazing,” says
Hudson. Joining Hudson at University

Coker, Don Coker, Kristin Graham,
John Ybanez, Melinda Morgan, Susan

Barbara Coker is a
familiar face to REALTORS
as her involvement in the
industry reaches far beyond
her loan business. “Don (her
husband and partner) and I got
involved in San Antonio real
estate back in the early 1980’s.
I knew very few people here
and Don encouraged me to get
out and network. With that
push, I began working with
Susie Lowe, who taught me
sometimes it is not just real
estate that networks in this
business. Ironically, it was a
jewelry show at a 1986 WCR
(Women’s Council of
Realtors) meeting that really
got me reaching out and meeting
people in our industry,”
shares Barbara. “Susie was a
wonderful influence to me.
Both she and Don reminded me that sitting
in one room does not build business.
Our industry is so much grander
than just our personal niche. People
have many talents and getting involved
at SABOR (San Antonio Board of
REALTORS) and other organizations is
truly what builds your business longterm.”
The Cokers walk their talk and
their 20-plus years of involvement in
San Antonio real estate has been recognized
by their peers. Each has been recognized
as SABOR Affiliate of the Year;
Barbara most recently named as 2007
Affiliate of the Year. They are the only

know me than I know them. By that I

I meet so many wonderful people and

The spirit of the University

They are the force in our community
