DeLeon and Hall Join Keller Williams Heritage
DE LEON HALL
Jenny M. De Leon has joined
Keller Williams Heritage as an exclusive
buyer’s agent.
De Leon was born and raised in
San Antonio and is the mother of three
beautiful children. Prior to Real Estate
she worked with the City of San Antonio
KB Home, is pleased to announce
that eight of its divisions across the
United States have been recognized by
the U.S. Environmental Protection
Agency (EPA) with a 2008 ENERGY
STAR Leadership in Housing Award. KB
Home’s San Antonio division was one of
eight recognized for their important contribution
to energy-efficient construction
and environmental protection by building
ENERGY STAR qualified homes in
2007.
In 2007, KB Home built 7,467
ENERGY STAR qualified homes across
the country as part of its “My Home. My
Earth,” environmental initiative.
Collectively, these homes will save KB
Home homeowners approximately $3.3
million on annual utility bills. The environmental
benefits of these ENERGY
STAR qualified homes are the equivalent
providing a support to the Mayor,
Council, and City Staff.
De Leon is a member of SABOR,
TAR, NAR and Urban Management
Assistants of South Texas – UMAST.
Sandra Hall works as a closing
coordinator. She guides clients through
the entire closing procedure, making
sure they fully understand the steps to
closing.
Hall was born and raised in the
Rio Grande Valley and had her first
child in Feb 2008. Before her real estate
career she worked in sales management
and customer service.
She is a member of SABOR, NAR

Environmental Protection Agency
of: eliminating the emissions from 3,658
vehicles, saving 22 million pounds of
coal, planting 6,048 acres of trees and
saving the environment 43 million
pounds of carbon dioxide per year
Homes that earn the ENERGY
STAR qualification meet strict guidelines
for energy efficiency set by the EPA.
ENERGY STAR qualified homes are at
least 15 percent more energy efficient
than homes built to the 2004 International
Residential Code (IRC), and include
additional energy-saving features.
ENERGY STAR qualified homes may
include a variety of energy-efficient features,
such as effective insulation, high
performance windows, tight construction
and ducts, more efficient heating and
cooling equipment and ENERGY STAR
qualified lighting and appliances.
Worldwide ERC Awards GMS Designation To
Marietta C. Alba

ERC, the workforce
mobility association,
recently announced
that Marietta C.
Alba, President and
Broker of Apartment
& Relocation Center
ALBA
has recently earned
the Global Mobility
Specialist (GMS) designation after
successfully completing the GMS
series of courses and exams.
Marietta joins nearly 2,000
global workforce mobility professionals
in 42 countries who carry
this distinctive professional designation.
GMS designees are required to
demonstrate professional mastery in
developing and administering assignment
policies, managing various
types of international assignment
cycles, and coordinating legal and
tax compliance processes, in addition
to cultural competency in managing
international assignees and
participating on global teams. Tools
are presented in the context of
regionally relevant mobility case
studies and current research on
demographics, HR and business
trends.
Like the Certified Relocation
Professional designation, which
Marietta also holds, the GMS credential,
designees take continuing
education classes which expand and
build on their knowledge.

She is a native of
San Antonio and a

Prior to her real estate career,
Suzanne was an associate in the
RE/MAX Vista II Opens in La Vernia

Laijas are at it again. Only a year ago,
these Floresville owners of RE/MAX
Vista opened their second office,
RE/MAX Hacienda in Pharr. Now they
have recently opened the doors to their
newest venture, the La Vernia based

Rick Montelongo Steps In Early As TAB President
The Phyllis
Browning Company
announces the addition
of David Simon as a
sales associate. Simon,
who specializes in the
sale of residential real
estate, is located in the
SIMON
company’s Hill Country
office but sells property throughout the
city.
Simon has spent almost his entire
professional life, of 31 years, in San
Antonio, working for 15 years in his own
store, D. Simon Fine Jewelers, and reached
the level of registered jeweler with the
American Gem Society. In 1992, he
resigned as TAB President on June 6,
2008.
Rick Montelongo has served the
Texas Association of Builders on the
Board of Directors, Executive
Committee, Vice President/Secretary
and Vice President. In addition, he
served the Greater San Antonio
Builders Association as President, Vice
President and Secretary/Treasurer.
David Simon Joins the Phyllis Browning Company
established himself in the publishing business
with his first venture, San Antonio In
Good Taste. In subsequent years, he produced
San Antonio: The Alamo, Fiesta &
River City, Business SouthTexas and for
the last seven years, he has published
Metro San Antonio In Focus, a newcomer
magazine.
Simon became licensed as a
Realtor in 2008, and is a member of
SABOR, NAR and TAR. He has served as
a founding member of the San Antonio
Business Committee for the Arts, President
of the Vance Jackson Neighborhood
Association and member of the Olmos
Kiwanis Club plus he is very active in
many other community related groups.
