Mr. McCaffrey’s is also involved with
SABOR through the REALTOR®
Commercial Alliance (RCA) committee
which he has been part of for the last 10 years.
He is also an active participant in CCIM.
Additionally, he is a 2008 graduate from the
Texas REALTORS® Leadership Program
(TRLP).
Darlene Minor, with Keller Williams
Legacy Group, primarily specializes in residential
real estate and has had her license for
23 years. Before her involvement in real
estate, Ms. Minor served in the United States
Army for 20 years. Once she retired from the
army, she began her new career in real estate
and became very active in the San Antonio
Board of REALTORS®. To date, she has
served on several committees including
Professional Standards, Governmental
Affairs, REALTOR® Image, Grievance,
REALTOR® Builder, and REALTOR®
Community Service. She has also served as
an Ombudsman, as a panelist in New
Member Orientation, and is a graduate of the
2005 Texas REALTORS® Leadership
Program (TRLP). She has also served three
consecutive years on the SABOR Board of
Directors.
At the state level, Ms. Minor served on
the Professional Standards committee and has
participated in TREPAC. She is recognized
as being a $1000 TREPAC Sterling Star in
2008. She has also attended several Hill Visit
meetings in Austin, TX and attended National
conferences and conventions all over the
country.
In addition to her committee work and
attendance at meetings, Ms. Minor has desig-
nations in CRS, GRI and ABR.
Jackie Galvan of RE/MAX Preferred
has been very involved with the San Antonio
Board of REALTORS® during the three
years she has had her real estate license. She
has invested her time with various committees
such as TREPAC, Governmental Affairs,
REALTOR® Image, REALTOR® Builder
and the GAC/TREPAC speaker’s program.
In 2007, she was the TREPAC Vice Chairman
and currently holds the 2008 TREPAC
Chairman position. Ms. Galvan is also a 2006
graduate from the Texas REALTORS®
Leadership Program (TRLP), and in 2005
was awarded the SABOR Affiliate of the Year
award.
In addition to her contributions at
SABOR, Ms. Galvan is also involved with
many institutes, societies and councils. These
include the Graduate REALTORS® Institute
(GRI), CRS, NAHREP where she was the
President Elect and President of the organization,
IREP, and Women’s Council of REAL-
TORS® (WCR).
Ms. Galvan has been very influential
in the Women’s Council of REALTORS®
both at the local and state level. She is currently
the president of the San Antonio chapter
of WCR and has been active in various
positions since the start of her real estate
career in 2003. At the local level she was the
Treasurer for the San Antonio chapter in
2005, and in 2006, she was elected as the Vice
President of Membership. In 2007 she was
elected to President Elect. At the state level,
she has served as the 2006 WCR Ways and
Means Vice Chairman, the 2007 Membership
Vice Chair and the 2008 Membership
Chairman.
