Fall Construction Class Series in October
Plan to register now to attend the next
REALTOR®/Builder Construction Class
series scheduled to begin October 8 and end
October 16. Builders are the instructors!
Participants will see houses in varying stages
of construction. The topics covered will take
you from raw land to the finished product and
beyond!
Class 1 includes instruction on land
development, site preparation, builder involvement,
pre-construction, architectural styles,
plans & blueprints and surveys. This class will
be covered by Keith Fahey with Centex
Homes.
Classes 2 -5 takes you to builder site
locations that include D. R. Horton, McNair
Homes, Imagine Homes and Casa Real.
Homes in various stages of production…from
raw land/slab, subsequent stages leading up to
the finished home product are included. Also
in this series will be energy efficient products
and a greater dialog and understanding of
what it means to build green.
Class 6 covers financing, construction
costs, title insurance, REALTOR® responsibilities
and inspections.
Cost for this series is $65 for members.
Class 1 & 6 can even give you MCE credit.
Regular MCE costs apply. Cost for non-members
is $99.

the Accredited Home-
Staging Specialist
(AHS) designation from
the Luxury Home

Council.
Jemal earned the
AHS designation from the Champions
School of Real Estate. The AHS course,
which is distributed in partnership with
MANN CULBERTSON
REALTYU (www.realtyu.com), is designed
to provide agents with the tools and knowledge
they need to effectively stage a home
for a faster sale and higher sales price.
Jemal, who also holds an Accredited
Luxury Home Specialist designation, was
born and raised in Mexico City, studied in
France and lived in Miami and in Austin.
She graduated from The University of Texas
at Austin with a degree in Advertising, and
is fluent in French, Italian, English and
Spanish. She has lived in San Antonio since
1989.
